About Nkem Odeh-Ifeyinwa
Nkem is a visual artist whose expressions revolve around figurativism and surrealism. He executes these art genres with prowesss in different mediums — such as oil paint, acrylic, Conté and pastel —to create his forms and to elucidate his visual expressions.
His current exploration “Depository” — a theme that emphasizes the essence of seeking knowledge and knowing more about our origin, history, culture and heritage — has drawn interest among such notables as Michael B. Jordan, Omari Hardwick and Aisha Hinds. As a result, the effort has blossomed into collaborations with different individuals, galleries and organizations in Africa, the USA and Europe such as Skate Of The Art ( SOTA) with GameStop.
Hobbies and interests: Art, football, music – Nkem plays drums, saxophone, piano and other percussion instruments. He has a special interest in African cultures and traditional festivals.
